Hi all. My name is Eduardo Lan and it is my sincere pleasure and honor to be here with all of you. I live in Toronto with my wife and two kids. Originally from Mexico, I have lived there, in the US, in Europe and now here in Canada. As far as I can remember, I have been interested in personal development and spirituality. In fact, when I was 7 years old I wrote a poem: "If you are here, don't be there, because you are here and nowhere else." So I guess I was meant to end up involved with mindfulness. I have been a mindfulness and meditation practitioner for over 30 years, although most of those years I mistakenly thought that it was all about being aware of my thoughts, completely disconnected from my feelings and my body.
Professionally, I am an organization development, change and transformation consultant and coach, specifically focused on safety culture and leadership. I also run a Spanish-speaking mindfulness parenting Internet community. I am passionate about all matters pertaining to the human condition and potential, and firmly believe in the dignity of all people and the sacredness of life.
