Eileen Spillane is passionate about normalizing conversations around death and dying so as to ease suffering for all at the end of life.
She has practiced Insight meditation since 2001 and is a graduate of Spirit Rock’s Dedicated Practitioner Program and The Community Dharma Leader program.
She has worked as a Registered Nurse for over thirty years in critical care, cancer, and childbirth.
She is a certified life coach through New Ventures West, has served as a Zen Hospice Project volunteer, MMTCP Mentor, an MBSR instructor, is a graduate of The Barbara Brennan School of Healing and is inspired by socially engaged Buddhism and nature dharma.
She loves riding her bike, hiking, traveling, and seeing the dharma in everyday life and nature. She leads hiking and biking trips in the United States and abroad. Self-compassion and a sense of humor have been her friends on the path to discovering truth.
