Dawn Haney (they/she) supports organizational change for groups seeking equity and inclusion, and teaches on the intersections of mindfulness, justice, and liberation.
As Co-Director of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship from 2011-2019, Dawn has been a core leader for Buddhist-informed activism in movements from climate justice to white anti-racist organizing. They have served as a mentor for emerging mindfulness teachers, and shaped the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility efforts for Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield's Mindfulness Meditation Teaching Certificate Program since 2021. She offers dharma wisdom regularly as a Community Teacher at East Bay Meditation Center and the Alphabet Sangha.
