About the MMTCP Alumni Association

You Became a Mindfulness Teacher to Serve

As an MMTCP graduate, you’ve undertaken this path out of a deep calling—to bring presence and compassion into a world facing increasing complexity and uncertainty. You are needed now more than ever…and you are not alone, we are here for you.

The MMTCP Alumni Association is run by alumni, for alumni – we exist to support your heart, your practice, and your work in the world.

To sustain and inspire you, we offer:

  • Ongoing Learning & Skill-Building
Through bi-monthly mentor-led circles, live workshops and learning sessions, and series such as The Business of Being a Mindfulness Teacher and Deepening Dharma, we offer meaningful spaces for continued growth as a teacher—whether you’re actively teaching, just beginning, or still trying to figure out your next step.

We have hosted teachers such as Joseph Goldstein, Sharon Salzberg, Christiane Wolf, Konda Mason, Bhikkhu Bodhi, Roshi Joan Halifax, Spring Washam, Mark Coleman, Oren Sofer, George Mumford, Trudy Goodman, James Baraz and of course Jack and Tara.  We also offer a range of workshops, skill-building and learning sessions on a range of topic.

  • Spiritual Friendship and Community
Sustaining our practice and work requires community. With 20+ alumni-led sanghas, connection through our alumni directory, and shared spaces at virtual and in-person events, we cultivate the deep spiritual friendships and bonds that nourish our teaching and practice and inspire us to continue this heart work.

There is something uniquely magical about MMTCP alumni —

a resonance not easily found elsewhere
