About me and my mindfulness journey:
I have a long history in the area of communication, with more than thirty years of experience working with public. I graduated from the National Theater Workshop of the Rajatabla Foundation. In the 80s and 90s I developed a successful career as a Theater, Cinema and TV Actress. After my daugther was born in 1998, I decided to move directions and went back to school, I pursued a B.A. in Public Relations and a certification in education with the Nueva Esparta University in Caracas, Venezuela, where I worked as Assistant Professor for more than eight years. I also worked in the Public Service Administration for more than thirteen years as Director of Protocol in the El Hatillo Hall. I love the contact with the communities in the Municipality of El Hatillo and the necessity for personal development led me to become certified as a Systemic Ontological Coach with Alas Venezuela S.C. and Alas Argentina. I am member of the “Federación Internacional de Coaching Ontológico Profesional” (International Federation of Ontological Coaching), FICOP No 00294. On of my dreams is to carry out his project of American Venezuelan Coalition, an ONG organization created with the purpose of promoting human rights, developing awareness of service to others.
My mindfulness training and teaching experience:
I am a certified mindfulness teacher through the Midwest Alliance for Mindfulness. (CMT-200) and I earned a full scholarship for the 2021-2023 with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher Certification Program. She completed the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center Intensive Practice Program. I have been assisting to a several long silence retreats, specially in Spirit Rock, and my intention is to keep my long silence practices this year and made at least 1 month silence retreat. I am trying to make my own shanga, specially to serve latino communities. In this moment, I am teaching in Midwest Alliance for mIndfulness https://mindfulness-alliance.org/about/.
