I live close to nature in a beautiful place that uniquely combines the landscape of the sea, desert, semi-tropics and mountains.
In my work life, I am recently retired from a successful career in architecture. To bridge the transition from one field to another, I started teaching yoga almost eight years ago. And, I enrolled in the MMTCP in part to support the experience of movning through this threshold in work, as well as, watching my youngest child move towards graduation while my husband (also retiring and my business partiner of 25 years) and I move towards an empty nest.
This phase feels quieter and more in harmony with my nervous system than the phase before which was rich, rewarding and has taught me a great deal about householding.
I feel blessed to be part of a global community, to deepen my personal practice and connection with nature, as well as share this practice in service with others.
