I've been a writer, contracts administrator with an educational background in writing, psychology, Asian Studies, contracts, MBA in Market Strategy and am part of cohort '23 of MMTCP.
I was born in India as a Brahmin Hindu vegetarian and transitioned to veganism in 2017. After immigrating to the US at 7 and reading Thoreau in high school, I discovered shared values in Unitarian Universalism. At a Unitarian church in 2002, I discovered passage meditation through Blue Mountain Center of Meditation.
After narcissistic abuse recovery programs in 2017 following divorce, I became an abuse recovery coach, was led to the importance of mindfulness as a common recovery focus, took a further course on it prior to joining the teacher certification program to further my learning for myself and as a coach. I have completed a trauma certification program for further healing and to provide deeper support.
I currently find great meaning and purpose through working on a documentary about dairy in the US and India.
