Dr. Patty Shutt is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at the Therapeutic Oasis and provides individual and group therapy to a wide range of adult populations. She is trained in adherent DBT therapy, EMDR, and is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. Dr. Shutt also has extensive training and expertise in mindfulness and self-compassion training and is a certified MBSR teacher through UCSD and Qualified MSC teacher. She facilitates mindfulness based trainings, workshops and individualized coaching through the Sacred Treehouse. She is committed to providing compassionate care to individuals and groups by meeting them where they are and helping them reach a greater sense of wellbeing. She is a trauma sensitive teacher and therapist and her areas of practice include, complex trauma healing using EMDR, EFT and Matrix Reimprinting and utilizing a team approach to eating disorder treatment. Dr. Shutt provides both in-person and virtual sessions and trainings and offers retreats for those who have a Vipassana practice.
