Bio
Hello and welcome. Queer-affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and disability-affirming practice offerings are near and dear to my heart. I enjoy creating individual and group spaces where folks feel empowered to be their full selves and develop a new practice or deepen an existing practice. I also really love working with willing skeptics; I want folks to experiment with accessing mindfulness in ways that work for them and bring mindful awareness to what impact, if any, it has for them. I am deeply biased in this regard, as my neurodivergent self *hated* mindfulness the first time I was introduced to it in graduate school. And, luckily for me, it remained a resource that I could dip my toes into over time and approach at my own pace. That may not be your experience, and I am interested in tagging along and supporting your journey with these practices, whatever that may look like. I practice mindfulness of joy by spending time with my two cats, rewatching beloved tv shows, acting like a tourist in my own city, and playing tabletop role-playing games. You certainly don't have to enjoy these things to connect with me! If you are interested in connecting with me to see if we might be a good fit for 1:1 mindfulness teaching or mentorship, please feel free to reach out to me via my Psychology Today contact, linked below. This is my only web presence currently and the best way to reach out. I wish you well.
