Bio
I am a married bilingual (French and English) registered clinical psychologist working in Northern Ontario, Canada with my husband where we are in private practice working with children, teens and adults, couples and families. I really find great satisfaction working with trauma, pain, grief, loss and anxiety, particularly with veterans & aboriginals. I feel so grateful to have been selected to join this path of being a meditation teacher as it has really transformed me personally, and my work with all ages on a daily basis. I feel so grateful to Tara and Jack and everyone I have met in this program. I love being the mother of 3 adult daughters and a grandmother to a 2 year old darling. I love the outdoors, particularly kayaking and hiking in nature, my places of peace, solace, and nurturance. Although I have not been teaching meditation in groups, it is part of my daily life and has enriched my world in so many ways. I feel so blessed and grateful! I regularly bring in the mindfulness meditation approach, with an emphasis on compassion and loving kindness, which is so helpful with transcending pain, particularly with veterans who are so accustomed to the harshness of their training & the trauma from their experiences. I am at the end of my career and mindfulness meditation has brought a breath fresh air into my current life and been a soothing balm to my own history.
