Bio
Joanna holds a DPT degree from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Orthopedic Manual Therapy Certification from Oakland University in MI. She has been a Physical Therapist for over 25 years treating mainly patients with neck pain and headaches. She became interested in neuroplasticity 15 years ago and this gradually led to mindfulness meditation and becoming a mindfulness teacher. Her goal is to help people to strengthen their ability to manage life’s physical and emotional challenges better, especially as related to dealing with chronic pain.
Her passions are being outdoors while sailing, hiking, running, biking, swimming, backpacking, skiing, canoeing, immersing in cold water and writing.
