Bio
I live in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina in the United States. I have been practicing mindfulness meditation regularly since 2007. I currently lead the Cary Mindfulness Group, a local meditation group in my community that meets monthly. I am also on the board of directors and teaching council for Triangle Insight Meditation Community in Durham. My current work is as a primary care physician three days a week for a non-profit clinic that takes care of the uninsured in Raleigh. I am passionate about introducing and teaching mindfulness practices to older teenagers and adults to help alleviate stress and also deepen a sense of presence and connection to the world around us.
