Bio
I’m a university professor, researcher, mindfulness meditation teacher, work+life mindfulness coach and yoga practitioner, as well as a friend and sister. My interest in work-life balance began during graduate school when I became fully aware of how existing social structures and systems often undermine women’s professional, personal, and family ambitions. This reality felt fundamentally unfair, which ignited my commitment to tackling these challenges and ultimately led me to become an internationally recognized work-life scholar. Throughout my academic career, I’ve focused on finding evidence-based solutions that empower working women to thrive in their diverse roles. As a work+life mindfulness coach, I’m passionate about holding space for women to discover, nurture, and advance their personal and professional objectives. I love asking thought-provoking questions that encourage exploration and growth. My warm yet direct approach, combined with academic insights into work-life challenges, offers clients a fresh perspective as they navigate their own paths. My coaching approach and mindfulness practices are deeply intertwined, helping working women cultivate resilience and clarity while fostering optimal well-being. I was inspired to become a mindfulness teacher after personally experiencing how mindfulness transformed my ability to manage stress and live with greater ease. As a trained and certified mindfulness meditation teacher I find great meaning in guiding others in their own practice. Teaching mindfulness enables me to empower students to devolop greater intention, compassion, and ease in their daily lives. I teach mindfulness meditation to college students and working women.
