Bio
Dominique Sade is a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher through the Awareness Training Institute, Sounds True, and the Greater Good Science Center. She advises individuals, communities and corporations in awareness and compassion practices. Dominique Sade has been sharing the Dharma and Buddhist teachings (in the Theravada tradition) since 2019. She is also a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Qigong Teacher, and Visionary.
Dominique Sade's passion for personal sovereignty is the foundation used to pursue and promote holistic health and wellness in her community. She combines her certifications in Personal Training and Mindfulness Meditation with Taoist Qigong to address the prevalent health and personal challenges that we face in today's society. As a woman of color who grew up in a poor community, she had first-hand experience of the disproportionate disparities within the healthcare system, educational system and the food industry. With her Indigenous-Caribbean roots, she was able to integrate ancient principles with contemporary techniques to guide herself back to wholeness mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Dominique Sade has facilitated online and in-person wellness workshops for individuals, community events, and corporations. She continues to serve as a space holder for her community through her signature offering, Breathe.Move.Transform. which integrates Movement, Breathwork, Meditation and Creative Writing.
As a survivor of domestic abuse, Dominique Sade's mission has extended to offer guidance to women who are dealing with or have dealt with domestic abuse and unhealthy relationships. She recently launched her first live course, Back to Wholeness: Introduction to Mindfulness for Women Victims of Domestic Abuse where she shares the practices of Mindfulness & Compassion, Taoist Qigong, and Breathwork to help women heal, improve their level of self-worth and embody their wholeness.
