I am a cultural anthropologist, writer, and owner of a small research and consulting business. I'm also the founder and outgoing executive director of Transitional Youth Mobilizing for Change (TYM4Change), a nonprofit devoted to helping young people 16-24 become positive agents of change in their communities through research, learning, and action. I entered the MMTCP less because I wanted to teach meditation than because I wanted to deepen my own practice. The rewards have been tremendous--in large part because they shown me how to be more present in every area of my life.
