Rabbi Chasya is clergy in Judaism, known as a Rabbi, and has been practicing mindfulness meditation (Insight/Vipassan/Theravada Buddhism/Dharma) since 1996 with teachers from Spirit Rock, the Institute for Jewish Spirituality, Elat Chayyim/Isabella Friedman, Rabbi Alan Lew, z"l, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Sylvia Boorstein, Joseph Goldstein, Sharon Saltzberg, Insight Meditation Society, and more recently, Selene Selassie and Jozen Tamori Gibson. She is elated to graduate from the 2 year Mindfulness Meditation Certified Teacher Training Program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
Rabbi Chasya is the Founder and Director of The Institute for Holiness: Kehilat Mussar (www.kehilatmussar.com) in Kibbutz Hannaton, Israel. She serves as a Rabbi, Teacher, Practitioner, and Lover of God and all things Judaism and the Dharma. She is married to Ahava of 25 years with two amazing children, ages 9 and 12, and several beloved cats.
