Bio
Carmen Ohori is a counsellor, biodynamic craniosacral therapist, mindfulness facilitator, and breathwork practitioner based in the Okanagan Valley, BC. She is completing her Master’s degree in Child, Youth, Family, and Community Studies at the University of Victoria and training toward Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) designation. Her work integrates mindfulness, compassion-based inquiry, and somatic awareness to support healing and connection within individuals and families. Carmen’s approach draws from the Pneumanity™ framework (Breathwork Africa), Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, and Qigong, and is grounded in relational, land-based, and decolonial ways of knowing. Rooted in the contemplative and heart-centered teachings of modern mindfulness, Carmen’s practice honours presence, belonging, and the intrinsic wholeness within all beings. She resonates with non-dual spiritual traditions, weaving these influences into her work through stillness, breath, and compassionate awareness. Carmen offers individual and group sessions that invite participants to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with their natural capacity to flourish.
