Bio
Carrie has over 15 years of experience working and volunteering for domestic and international nonprofit organizations in many roles including fundraising, communications, strategic planning, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Led by her insatiable curiosity and multiple passions, Carrie is an avid traveler (nearly 30 countries and counting!), an artist, writer, systems thinker, cynical idealist, and an enthusiastic plant and dog mom. She currently works part time as the Fundraising and Communications Manager for a racial justice organization called Service Never Sleeps and part time as a freelance facilitator and wonderer at www.statesofwonder.co
Carrie has a Masters in Governance and International Development from the Institute of Development Studies in the UK. She completed a two year mindfulness meditation teacher certification program in January 2023, and will be a certified 200 RYT yoga teacher in June 2023.
