DESCRIPTION:At this moment\, the Earth and many living species are threatened by humanity’s unawareness. It’s natural to feel frustration or anger when you care deeply about our planet and its more-than-human inhabitants. Yet the most powerful force for healing arises from wise stewardship and love. We’ll explore accessing love and other wholesome states that deepen our connection to our beautiful Mother Earth. \n \nThis session is from 12 – 1:30 pm ET;  the Zoom link is here \n \nMore about James \nJames has been a meditation teacher since 1978. \nHe is creator and teacher of the Awakening Joy course (since 2003).  He leads retreats\, workshops and classes in U.S and abroad and is Co-founding Teacher of Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre\, CA.  James is also the co-author of Awakening Joy\, the book based on the course (with Shoshana Alexander) and Awakening Joy for Kids (with Michele Lilyanna). \n \nHe is a Guiding Teacher for One Earth Sangha\, a website devoted to expressing a Buddhist response to Climate Change.
