SUMMARY:Mentor-led Sangha | Jill Satterfield
DESCRIPTION:Led by MMTCP Mentors\, these sessions offer a place for you to bring any and all of your personal practice and teaching questions and to be in sangha with alumni peers. In each session\, mentors will offer a short talk\, lead a reflective or practice exercise and then offer guidance and wisdom for any questions you have.   \n \nThis session is led by Jill Satterfield and is from 7 – 8:30 pm ET;  the Zoom link is here \n \nPlease note: these sessions are not recorded. Now more than ever we need to be in community and though we can’t be together in person\, please join us live for this valuable community. \n \nMore about Jill \nJilI Satterfield was led to practice over 35 years ago as an attempt to work with a body not well and a heart mind that felt quite separated from it. She was fortunate to meet her primary teacher\, Ajahn Amaro\, on her second retreat\, and he has been her constant guide and inspiration for over 28 years. \n \nAs a result of her practice and life experiences\, she’s designed teacher trainings\, like the Applied Embodied Mindfulness at UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center and The School for Compassionate Action: mindfulness and somatic practices for those living with chronic pain\, trauma\, and addictions in New York City. She is trained as a Buddhist Chaplain by the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies. \nShe is really happy to be a part of this training and loves facilitating each individual towards finding their own unique expression of mindfulness and dharma. \n \nYou can learn more about Jill and here offerings here
