SUMMARY:March 29 -- Half-day retreat (virtual) with Genevieve Tregor
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a pause among the busy-ness and chaos of the world.  This virtual half-day retreat will be a time to reflect\, recharge\, and reconnect. The retreat will consists of periods of walking and sitting meditation as well as short dharma talk on the retreat’s theme of ‘letting go’ — what does that really mean in our practice?  There will also be an opportunity for Q&R. The retreat will be guided by Genevieve Tregor.   \n \nThe session is from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm ET;  the Zoom link is here \n \nThe plan for session is as follows (may change slightly) \n \n10:30  – Welcome and guided sit  \n11:15 – walking or movement   \n11:45 – meditation period  \n12:15 – walking\, movement\, or meal in noble silence \n12:45 – dharma talk \n1:30 – relational practice  \n1:50 – stretch/bio break or walking  \n2:00 –  Q&A  \n2:30 – End  \n \n \nMore about Genevieve \nGenevieve Tregor\, MS\, a mindfulness instructor and health educator\, has been a committed mindfulness practitioner since 2008 with extensive long-term retreat experience. She teaches Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and other mindfulness courses and workshops — with a trauma-informed approach — through Solution Mindfulness\, and serves as an adjunct instructor at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix where she teaches Cultural Aspects of Health and Illness. She is founding teacher of Insight Meditation Scottsdale community\, SolutionMindfulness.com\, and OneWorldMindfulness.com—creating and teaching classes\, workshops\, and retreats in secular and Buddhist contexts\, and teaching alongside senior teachers in the Insight tradition.
