DESCRIPTION:Join us for a discussion led by Lama Rod Owens on how\, in our very divided and conflicted world\, how can we as meditation teachers help people move through grief\, anger\, and division towards love\, peace\, healing\, and liberation among each other and for our communities. How do we address our own emotional contradictions so that we can be more effective in resourcing and supporting the people we work with? As Lama Rod Owens says in his latest book\, The New Saints\, we are all called on to become “spiritual warriors” serving a vision of a world shaped by love. \n \nLama Rod Owens is a leading voice in a new generation of Buddhist teachers. With over 11 years of experience\, Lama Rod is highly respected among his peers and the communities that he serves. He is the author of The New Saints: From Broken Hearts to Spiritual Warriors and Love and Rage: The Path of Liberation through Anger and co-author of Radical Dharma: Talking Race\, Love and Liberation\, his teachings center on freedom\, self-expression\, and radical self-care.
